HAVE YOU HAD MUCH EXPERIENCE HELPING PATIENTS WITH LONG COVID?
Yes, this clinic came about as a way of streamlining the ever growing patient numbers Carla and her colleagues were seeing with after effects from COVID-19. As well as supporting these current patients, our team also has decades of experience supporting patients with other post viral illnesses.
DO YOU ONLY OFFER TELEHEALTH ONLINE CONSULTATIONS?
Yes, our clinic is purposefully virtual to remove the limitations that often inhibit access to top quality care for Long COVID patients, including travel, finances, location and accessibility. We are very experienced in providing our services via Telehealth and will provide appropriate referral solutions if any in person physical assessment is required.
WHAT ARE YOUR QUALIFICATIONS?
Our team of Clinicians and allied health support personnel all have Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy &/or Nutritionist) qualifications or higher, along with additional post graduate qualifications and more recently industry, association and peer to peer based education on Long COVID support options.
WHY DO YOU WORK YOUR CONSULTATIONS IN STAGES?
From our experience we have found the four stage approach of our treatments over a 12 week period ensures the best care and outcomes for patients suffering a diverse range of post COVID symptoms. During the four stages we take a full body approach to improving health; addressing multitudes of causes, drivers and body systems for a truly personalised approach.
Stage 5 is an opportunity for patients to maintain their wellbeing long term with our team.
We aim to ensure our patients are back to full health, maybe even better health, than their health status before COVID-19.
WHAT THERAPIES DO YOU USE?
Our clinicians prefer to recommend nutritional, botanical and lifestyle medicines. This will most likely include a prescription for supplements, lifestyle and dietary changes. However we do support and recommend pharmaceutical prescriptions and services where appropriate too.
CAN I USE MEDICARE OR PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE?
We are a full fee paying Telehealth clinic and are not currently able to access private health insurance rebates for our consultations, we will update here if this changes. Medicare is also not available for our services.
WHAT SUPPLEMENTS DO YOU PRESCRIBE?
